This original oil painting, 'Afternoon Surf', captures the beauty and power of the ocean with its large, glowing waves and stunning pre-sunset.
There was something about the light on the sea water that I couldn’t quite leave alone: that deep blue-green wave with flashes of turquoise, and the warm reflections appearing for just a second before the wave moved on.
The afternoon light is beginning to fade, but somehow the ocean waves are still full of it. Pure magic.
I hope this painting gives the new owner the same feeling - energetic, but somehow calming at the same time. Something to pause I front of it, notice a little differently each time, and perhaps imagine being there.
