Early morning waves always leave me with a feeling I never get tired of.
The light is still soft, and the sea seems almost luminous.
A clear green wave glowing from within, with a delicate lace of sea foam revealing just how translucent it is.
I wanted to capture and share that feeling of looking at the sea in the first light, watching nature slowly awaken and knowing you have the whole day ahead. Feeling grateful for the simple fact that you get to be there.
- techniques: from an old traditional glazing/sfumato (16th-17th century) to impressionistic impasto;
