This isn’t loneliness. Loneliness (for me) would come from a feeling of emptiness or sadness.
This is solitude. That beautiful feeling of being completely happy in your own company, feeling peaceful, present and whole. And yes, simply happy))
Turquoise shallows, soft sea foam, a distant wave rolling towards the golden shore, horizon that gently disappears.
Just you and the sea. And the joy of being exactly where you are.
To create this painting I used various range of techniques- from an old traditional glazing/sfumato (gained its popularity in 16th-17th century) and blending to impressionistic impasto.
This painting would look great in any home décor style. It is ready to hang, can be framed or hung without a frame - this painting is extended over the edges of the gallery wrapped deep canvas, is wired, signed and dated by me.
